Castle and his father. What an amazing photo by Neal Urban Studio. Castle is the best! He has a lot of medical issues, but is the most loving boy ever. Just because his daily routine consists of feeding tubes, oxygen tanks, and a lot of other medical equipment, does not mean he is not a child like everyone else. He shows love and affection to all.
He can smile and laugh and give mom a grunt to move away when she is snuggling him too much. He loves to be with his siblings. Capturing the true Castle was what this session was all about for Neal Urban Photography. Mom had told us not a lot of photographers would do family photos for them because of Castle. That was heart breaking. It is being afraid of the unknown or not willing to face a challenge. Getting to know mom and about Castle before the session was really all it took. Understanding a bit more about a typical day for Castle was exactly what we needed to make this session beautiful.
Neal Urban Portraits really took time in planning this session out. We did not want mom and dad to stress or worry we would not get anything "good." Everything was good. Castle was such a rockstar. It just took patience and getting him as comfortable as we could. Neal Urban Photography had such an amazing experience with Castle and his family and can not wait to work with them again (this time with his brothers and sisters)!
