Most fairytales have the husband and wife ride in on a horse and carriage. Well, for this maternity session, there was no carriage or horses, but they rolled up in a Lamborghini! What an amazing maternity session at Lakewood Castle in Youngstown NY for Neal Urban Portraits. Pictured are the owners of 95 Nutrition. They love to do dramatic style portrait sessions and are always up for anything Neal Urban may throw at them! Being able to photograph at Lakewood Castle was amazing. Neal Urban Weddings had been there photographing a wedding, but were really restricted to only photograph outdoors. For this session, we were able to use the entire house, both indoor and out.
These first time expecting parents really wanted something different for their maternity photos. We knew they had this beautiful Lamborghini and threw out the idea of incorporating it. Neal Urban Studio knows it’s only a prop, but it represents their family and brand, which is exactly what we wanted to do for them!
It was windy that day and made for amazing shots with mom to be’s dress! Neal Urban Photography brought out the external studio lights for drama. Getting the lighting right for each pose was key to making these images perfect. Neal Urban Studio was able to use different rooms in the Castle. It was hard to take a bad photo being able to use a study with bear skinned rug or library with giant fireplace. Let’s not forget going outdoors. Lakewood Castle is located on Lake Ontario. Neal Urban Portraits was able to pose the parents to be right on the edge of the water. Waves were crashing and water splashing everywhere. It looked like a photo for the cover of a romantic novel!
This maternity session was so much fun. After the images were complete, our Neal Urban Collection designed a beautiful album. Also a large print with vintage ornate frame to display in their home! Neal Urban Photography can’t wait to work with this growing family again. What will they think of next!
