Jordan and Nick wanted their engagement session at Knox Farm State Park in East Aurora, NY! They chose this location because it had a rustic feel and they allow dogs. Not all parks allow dogs.
They wanted their dog in some of the photos! I love this pups tongue in this image. We were bringing the dog with treats for this! We wanted eyes on the camera. Then Jordan and Nick looking at each other!
The colors in this image are so pretty. The sun was beginning to set and the sky had hazy clouds. I really like the framing for this image too. Neal chose to include some of the red barn in the image! He could have had Jordan and Nick move over, but he also liked the diagonal shadow the barn was making on the ground. I didn't notice this until I went through the photos to begin the editing process. There are so many times, where I am surprised at the angle Neal is taking. I am taking different angles or holding lighting, that I do not always pay attention to Neal. He moves around so much, it's hard to keep up sometimes!
I definitely did not expect this image! I thought it was awesome. He likes to take wide images a lot. I normally go in and take close up images. That works well for us, so the couple get two different looks! I think I was too focused on the dog for this image
