End of the Night at the Double Tree

End of the Night at the Double Tree

Janelle and Lou got married in June of 2018! They had a beautiful summer day! The ceremony was at St. Mary of the Cataract in Niagara Falls. We went for photos with the bridal party at Old Fort Niagara State Park. That is one of our favorite locations to do portraits. Because it is a large property and open to the public, we work with the entire wedding party closest to the entrance. Then we send them back to the limo and venture further into the Park with the bride and groom. We do not want to disturb those visiting this historical landmark by coming in with large wedding parties.

After bridal portraits, we headed to the wedding reception at Double Tree by Hilton in Niagara Falls, NY. This venue has only been open for a few years and we love working there. The staff is great and so accommodating! The reception room is huge and always looks gorgeous. The guests have access to an outdoor patio as well! For the end of the night, we wanted to do something fun with Janelle and Lou. We went outside on the property and took out the smoke bombs. The smoke literally engulfed them! The night was pretty calm so there wasn't much wind to push the smoke around. We had a light placed behind the couple. We also had one in the foreground because it was a little to dark to see the them. The smoke bomb pin was pulled and the newlyweds started to look like they were floating on air! This was one of the first times the entire day they were alone together.

This was an amazing image to end the night. Their party kept going on the dance floor all night! When the bride and groom returned to the reception, it seemed as though they did not miss a beat! What a great wedding at the Double Tree!
