Jocelyn and Chris had an amazing engagement session at Knox Farm State Park in East Aurora. They both love to dress up and always look like they could step out of a Vogue magazine. The bride to be is a hair stylist, so we knew glam would be on point! This couple was so outgoing and love to make each other laugh. They also know how to have that serious look without trying to hard. It's not easy to do either.

We started in slightly more casual outfits with Jocelyn and Chris. We walked around to different areas of the park. We knew we wanted to end the session in high fashion outfits and where the tree line was. The sun was setting and we wanted it to be a little darker. We waited for the sun to drop and brought out some lighting to get this effect with the trees. We could hide the lighting behind the trees which was perfect! We wanted a fun, but sexy kind of pose for this. The groom to be was spot on with kissing his brides hand. We asked Chris to put his hand in his pocket to give a bit more of a casual feel. Jocelyn had that gorgeous dress with the slit that just screamed red carpet.

The couple did such a great job on their Knox Farm engagement session. Even though we were in a rustic park style setting, we were still able to make it fancy and high fashion for them. They got married in May of 2018 and had their ceremony at St. Joseph's Cathedral in downtown Buffalo. Then their reception was at the Columns Banquets, which is right down the road from Knox Farm!
