Wow! Look at this amazing light! You would think this is all fake. It is 100% real! Neal Urban Portraits had the pleasure of photographing this maternity session for the owners of 95 Nutrition. This was their first child and they wanted the photos to be dramatic and timeless. Friends of theirs owned Lakewood Castle in Youngstown NY. Neal Urban Weddings had been there before photographing a wedding. Unfortunately, it is a private home and we were only allowed in the foyer for photos. For this maternity session, Neal Urban Studio could use any part of the house and grounds!
Upon arrival, Neal Urban Portraits started outdoors using the front of the castle. Not to mention a sexy black Lamborghini that the couple owned! Then we headed inside and just roamed around the house for the best photo locations. This study had amazing beams of light coming through the window. All we needed to do was move a few pieces of furniture around to make it work. We had that amazing lighting from one window and an amazing view with puffy clouds from another. Pose was nice and intimate and looked as though this family of 3 to be was all alone.
This image was a favorite from this maternity session. Neal Urban Collection made a giant spread in the album the family decided on. They also selected a large print to hang in their home. The wall print had a beautiful custom vintage antique frame!
